Not to mention all 6 dishes we ordered came out ONLY minutes after ordering. Compliment to the kitchen. I can't believe I haven't tried this place before, but I am glad I found it today. ”
“ Love this cosy Chinese restaurant in the downtown area. Parking lot can get a little busy but we went late close to their closing hour so it was all good. Their chili pork lo mein is amazing and the dishes was prepared with wok hei which tasted really nice! For sure a good place for Chinese food! ”

The location may come off as intimidating, but the moment you walk in to a warm greeting and bustling atmosphere that quickly turns into charming. You’ll find this place is one of those corners that people come to gather together whether that be as a friendgroup, family, or a date! The people who served us were incredibly inviting, and wonderful at their job. Just a tip: this place is not one of those spots where a server will constantly check on you (they will! Just not often) as they are always on the go serving others. Please, politely wave them down or call. They are very attentive and will kindly serve you if you get their attention :) Now for the food, gosh, worth the wait! Everything we has was delicious, but our favourite certainly was the Wonton soup. So good I swear I shed a tear. If you’re not sure what to order, this is your safest bet in my opinion. Portions are large, filling and 100% worth the price. Warning if you missed it coming in: THIS PLACE IS CASH ONLY! It has an atm at the front you may use if you need some. Keep that in mind! I see why this place is well loved, and has been standing strong for many years. A new top 3 for me. You bet I’ll be ordering that wonton soup on doordash sometime. ”

Lots of seating/booths available, service is prompt and friendly (especially if you become a regular). Ironically, my go to is beef brisket and won ton (rice) noodle soup - which isn’t pictured. Beef hor fun is also a favourite. ”
“ This restaurant always have the best Hongkong style dishes. So delicious. I have been to this restaurant since the 90s during my college years. Now I'm bringing my families to enjoy their foods. Highly recommend but the only payment method is cash only. They do have ATM machine in the restaurant. ”
“ This place is a hidden gem. I had the wonton soup and some green onion cakes. The other dishes that I had noticed from other customers looked phenomenal enough for sharing and even bringing some home. Right by the Double Tree by Hilton. These small businesses need customers too. ”

This fantastic establishment is home to some of the very best Chinese food I have ever had the pleasure of experiencing, and I must say, a national treasure. The Double Greeting Won Ton House, is undoubtedly the best food in the entire continent of North America. The Ginger Beef melted in my mouth, it made me instantly have a whole new perspective on the world, made me enjoy the perks of life once again. Same can be said for all the other dishes, especially the Shanghai noodles. The best noodles anyone will ever have the pleasure of tasting in their entire lives, it made me think of how our society is structured in the modern day and age. Made me want to eat these noodles every second for the rest of my life. In conclusion, the food is so miraculously breathtaking, I have been so aware of my every breath, smell and taste, I am now in constant state of shock, as I realize I will never again find a place to eat as good as the Double Greeting Won Ton House. ”
